I really enjoy that program, a complete contrast to the pealed peas, Foie gras and Jus of every other cooking program.

Having worked in the US a lot I've come across a few places like that!

i think it's a laugh and enjoy watching it

some of the dishes are unreal though, the sheer size of some of them!!! i can pig-out with the best of them; but some of those would finish me off double quick!!

the only thing that gets me is the american advert break every 6 minutes or so....

Me and Nat like watching it. Some of the challenges he takes on are obscene, like eating 2 US gal. of ice-cream or a 9lb steak feast... How the ****??

Looked on wikipedia and he usually doesn't eat for 24 hours before a challenge and then does exercises afterwards. I'd love to know the calories in te dishes he eats, heart attack on a plate

On the back of this programme, my friends have tracked down a london based 32oz steak challenge and will be manning up accordingly
Oh and I am a big fan of the show, here is an uncyclopedia article I wrote on the subject....

I have tried a challenge like that, it was a bit of a con because not only did you have to eat the steak but the bucket of chips that came with it.

I've watched pretty much the whole series. Great but get's wearing on the nerves when everytime you hear...

"MMMMMMmmmmmmm, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, mmmmmmmmmmmmmm the smokiness of the pepper combines so well with the nuclear explosion that has just gone off in my mouth" everything he eats is lush !!

Oh and he drink shed loads of water on the days leading up so it stretches his gut.
