Default does SKY HD 3D cost any more?

is there an extra cost ontop of the normal £10 extra you pay for HD over normal sky+?

from today the Golf's in 3D as far as i know.

so you need the FULL £80 pm package to get 3D, or if you already have Sky sports package, you just pay the £10 to get the HD?

3D broadcasts are available to those with the HD pack. You however need a 3D capable TV. You don't need the full pack to get the 3D.

rang them,
she pays £44 pm, for the sports.

£51 would get her the Full movies

£61 gets her the FULL HD/3D world package.

only £17 a month more than she pays now!!!

These days unfortunately customer loyalty means nothing to sky. I was with them for over ten years and it was not until I quit that they started offering me free this that and the other . They even sent me christmas cards.

Think I'll keep with BT Vision... cost nothing.. though it has no HD channels. But we do use it to record most of the time.

I pay a bit more than that. Basic package with HD and one multiroom. I wanted multiroom "Lite" but its hard to get Sky to even admit it even exists.

If we watch TV upstairs its usually me and the wife when the nipper is in bed or when the nipper is in bed and we are downstairs. Basically we can get away with one box upstairs so bought one of those magic eye things. Works very well, you watch the same channel but can still change the channel in the other room.

Sky are robbing dogs and prices will go up with the VAT increase too.

I just have freeview and if I want to watch the football I'll go down the local.

No way am I gonna spend even £20 quid a month on TV I don't need!

It's a total waste of money.

Thats how I have set it up, we were going to get multi room for my daughters bedroom but she only stays a couple of nights a week so decided on giving her our old box and buying a freesat card, I also have a cable from this box to the kitchen with a magic eye,

oh and I have a cable I use to the kitchen and the garden from the main box

what does your daughter watch on sky to warrant another subscription.. can't you just let her watch normal freeview... for nothing.

We havent had another subscription for her, the freeview card just gives all the freeview channels and a few others for a one off payment of £20 ( or £25 I cant remember )

I know you can watch most channels without it, but there are a few that you dont get without it

You could buy a freesat box for £25 and not have to keep getting cards from sky when they change them and not have to go through all the channels to get the free ones

Our house doesn't have an ariel so there would be extra cost in getting one set up, and to be honest I prefer the menu system on the sky box ( I know I would get used to the freeview menu but can't see the point), and I have all the free channels set to favourites so I just flick through with the blue button to see what's on

Freesat can use the same dish as Sky, so no aerial needed.
