Deadliest Catch
Anyone else watching the current series with a kind of morbid fascination waiting for Captain Phil to die? I'm wanting to watch and not wanting to watch all at the same time. Also his son Jake's revelation was unexpected wasn't it?

I am following it closely too. Waiting in the same way. The revelation was indeed a shocker, but I wonder what sort of "medicine" it was, as he seemed MIGHTY posessive over it lol
Also wondering how much the camera crew remained "professional" with someone they formed such a bond with. Surely it would be a drop camera and do something moment?

tbh not sure how i;d react if i caught my kid stealing drugs and was an adict, if i had kids that is.

Jim Wilson has taken the helm of the Cornelia Marie for their 2010 spring and summer tendering contracts. He was among those being considered to run the boat for the rest of the 2010 opilio crab season before Derrick Ray was selected.[6]
The current plans are for Cornelia Marie to only participate in the 2010 King Crab season. During that time, half of Phil Harris' ashes will be spread in the Bering Sea. The ship will then forego the 2011 opilio crab season in favor of entering drydock for an overhaul. It is unknown who will captain Cornelia Marie for crabbing in 2010-11.
It is unknown if Cornelia Marie will return for Season 7 of Deadliest Catch, but Josh and Jake Harris are both on-record as wanting to return to the show.

It hasn't been broadcast yet, its on next weeks show. At the end of this week's Phil caught Jake in his room trying to steal his prescription medicine. Jake then admitted he was an addict which is where it finished.

yep, thats what i;ve seen. so not sure what eventual outcome is, but he's been totaly spaced out past couple of episodes and it kinda explains why
