Default Random weird question

Probably with a simple answer too, but here goes...

A few years back when the National Lottery had a massive jackpot, there was talk of a consortium coming together to cover all bases, and buy all combinations available.

Apparently the odds of the jackpot are 14,000,000 - 1

So, imagine this happens, and suprise, yes the win the jackpot....

With the other tickets remaining, how many other winning tickets would they have with 3 numbers, 4 numbers, 5 numbers, and 5= the bonus?

Saw a programme about some group trying to do that in the USA for one of their lotteries.

As you only have a week to enter all winning combinations the logistics of it were a nightmare. They employed people to be feeding slips into lottery machines night and day, and seem to remember they had somehow acquired half a dozen or so machines for their purposes. Even then they failed to get every single combination in before the deadline but luckily did have the winning ticket. Must have been a bit of a bottom clencher as the numbers were drawn though. Like you say they also got a lot of money from the lesser prize tickets. Think it took them ages to sort through all that too despite having a lot of computers involved in it all. Think it was a few years back though so probably a bit easier with the computing power available today.

6x £195k
250x £2.5k

Only works if it is a big rollover.

...and you're reliant on trusting all those people entering the tickets and crunching the numbers.

I wouldn't know where to start, so it's a show of faith.
