People like that should be strung up, end of.
I am fed with so called professionals that blame it on this and that, rather than letting the person take responcibility for their own actions.
These same professionals make idiotic judgements on prisoners which then allow them to be released to re-offend.
The world is all about survival of the fittest.....so get rid of those people that are not 'moral fit' in the head.

It is a real worry that as I have mentioned before, all kinds of vandalism and gratuitous violence seem to be increasing.
It can only be down to the way so many children grow up with either parents who set a bad example, or lack of a decent upbringing or a combination of those things. The trouble is, this problem can only get worse as the present children grow up and have their own children.
As original Christian values disappear, we seem to be seeing a more selfish and unpleasant World beginning to emerge.

Consequences, who from? My daughter knows not to do this type of thing, as do I and everyone I know! It's to do with respect and discipline, or should I say the total lack of both. Kids are let to run riot and are almost feral in some areas. I work with kids who are 13 whose parents allow them to smoke, drink and skip school.
I don't know what the answer is to be honest, but surely animal cruelty like this is a given that it's a bad thing?

Some of them know that the authorities will do nothing if they break the "rules".
Birch the ones that will learn - bullet in the head for those that don't.

I just googled "knife attack horse" and some of the stories are quite shocking and over a Long period of time.I wouldn't be suprised if it isn't kids that are doing this.
The strangest and most vicious of crimes have been committed by the most outwardly normal of (adult) people...

You can never tell. We knew a family in our old village, outwardly happy middle class with two kids. But the kids had an evil streak. The boy put the cat on the hot plate for fun and a Hamster in the microwave. And the daughter had a kind of strange evil glare about her. I don't know if anything untoward ever happened to them and we didn't keep in touch when we moved.
I find this behaviour impossible to comprehend. dl

I can't say Chris, it is purely an impression that I get these days. My only reason for quoting those values is that they seemed to encourage far more acceptable attitudes to other people than we see now.
From the example set by what are supposed to be our leaders we see little else from most of them but greed and selfishness and unfortunately it appears to rub off on so many of the rest of us.

My cousin had a horse as a kid and someone impaled it with a spike whilst it was in its field, there was a spate of it around that time.
Usually sad acts that have no influence, control or importance in their own life that feel the need to make something else suffer.
Hopefully the Geegees will just plop them out with no ill effects.

Lots of horses around where I live, all in dark fields at night.....
A 21 year old bloke has been found guilty of having *ahem* sexual relations with one of them....
