Is he still around? Haven't seen any posts, replies to threads, or threads from him for an age.

I think he's on holiday at the moment, but can't answer as to where he has been.

Er, isn't it his job as webmaster of this site to be around?
Why hasn't the double post bug been fixed?
Seems like Scoobynet is being left to fester away.
Some days i'll log on at midday and again in the evening and there will have only been a few threads since. I remember when each day had pages of threads

The site is running fine other than the double post thing .. but that only happens now and then ..
I think being webmaster is one of his unofficial roles ?

I heard he was in a pot somewhere waiting for the water temp to rise a little (I heard he likes it hot, almost boiling)
I am sure when he is done he will be back.

I should imagine the whole divorce thing has taken up most of his time, I know it did when I was going through it.
I know its no excuse for letting the site go to the dogs but give the man some slack.

Isn't the double post thing only happening to Apple users? If so who cares?

Same setup here, but I have only ever been hit by the double post once.
Maybe it is so difficult to diagnose because it isn't happening all of the time to everyone, and even those that do experience it frequently, it still isn't happening every time they post.

Anyway lets face it if it as old webmaster every double poster would have been banned 'in the name of the community'.

He has probably been trying to post, but his message is lost halfway across the ocean in cyber space.

Hi guys,
I am indeed back and the site was left in the capable hands of Sal and Rob @ IB who between them can do far more than me alone anyway so I am sure all has been running just fine.
Ref the double post thing, its driving people nuts, we think its to do with a pluggin that is no longer compatible with our current VB release, however, finding out which one that is will be a headache as we cannot replicate the problem ourselves sadly.
With regards lobster pictures,
here you go, my holiday blog, , do your worst.
