Could you all assist me, and a friend with a bit of input!

What i need is for you to post the very first thing that comes into your head when you hear the name below.

Ideally, read the name, take your first thought and scroll straight to the bottom of the page, not stopping to read anyone else input (to avoid changing your first thoughts!) and enter your reply.

So, the name, its for a clothing shop:

Super-Nine

So first thoughts, post them below please!!

I thought it sounded like a brand name you'd see across the front of someone's t-shirt.

My first thought was "Golf Ball" and I don't even play golf. I admit that I didn't read the whole post and only looked at the bold name. Didn't realize it related to a clothes shop.

If I saw the sign above a shop I don't know what I'd think it sold. I'd have to look in the Window if I was interested. It wouldn't obviously be a clothes shop.

Could work, although i would imagine you need a good location as the name is not an indication of what the shop is selling.

Maybe replace the word 'nine' with '9', and maybe a description of what's being sold.

Super9 Clothing.

Super9 Fashion.

Just my thoughts

Nope. Don't like it. Sounds like an outsize shop (even though 9 wouldn't be outsize for a wimmins).

Sorry.

My first thought was 'WTF' - Then I thought of an obscure engine configuration, but I can't think how you would make a 9 work, 3 or 5 is OK, seven is a bit of a struggle, but you can't have a firing order for a 9 that wouldn't be more efficient in a 6.

OH - Hang on clothing....... Nope - makes me think WTF again

Again, thanks for the reply.

The idea behind the name is trying to be something that doesnt really mean an awful lot, but rolls off the tongue and is easy to remember.

Alot of the cool 'street butiques' have names that really dont mean much, like 'Fatlace', yet are memorable.
