water issue
Anyone got any ideas how to solve this issue ..............
My dads farm hasnt had any water for 9 days due to the next door farm having a split in their mains pipe .........................
The guy who owns the farm is in hospital having a knee op ,
so my dad went to there farm today and knocked on the door to ask his wife whats going on and she started to kick off having a go at my dad saying its his fault
Any after them arguing for half an hour and dad not getting any sense he went home ......
Anyway later on tonight the womans daughter came to my dads farm having a go at my dad saying that he had been swearing at her mum ???????????
oh my god !!!!!!!
anyone got any ideas but not shoot them

And I thought farmers were a friendly lot!
This is all very confusing
You need to establish exactly what is going on re your dad's supply. Surely he can't just be relying on the goodwill of the farm next door to supply water from his own supply coming off the mains? You need also to find out where the various shut off valves are and whose they are. Try and get a water board official on site to sort it out and tell you where your dad stands in all this. It may be that your dad will have to organise his own supply from the mains at the property boundary - is that far from property?
And get your mum to send a get well card to the guy in hospital and try and restore better relations
