I'm not fan piracy of games or any content.
If you think i'm go modding my PS3 or Xbox 360 you are wrong,because i brought every game(games not cost more than 10£-pre owned etc.).
How many people from this site downloaded mp3's or movies from torrent etc.?

I did have a boot discs for my PS2. Never used it for copies though - Initial D was import only so I had to mod the PS2 in order to make it work.

Funny how we are told that piracy is killing off PC gaming yet now there isn't a console that isn't affected by piracy. And the very seem minority that use pirated console games would be the very same who would use pirated PC games.

I had far more pirated Amiga games than official games - didn't stop it selling in hundreds of thousands though did it.

I wouldn't care if they gave you a fiver with every free game, the PS3 is **** and i personally don't want to have crippled arthritic hands due to its superbly dung controller.

Long past anything like that, I have more games than time to play them, they are geenrally epics these days and worth the money, I have no issues paying for somethign like "Red Dead Redemption" as it is a masterpiece.

I did dabble with pirated games but they usually didnt work or required losts of messing about, you dont get the box so end up with tonnes of CD'r with scribble on so interesting as a technical acheivement but sod all use to me on my GT5 waiting machine, I mean PS3.

why oh why do people do this if you cant afford the games dont buy a ps3 its people like you that are ruining console gaming and for the record the ps3 is the best system out there and i have them all so i can comment the xbox is ruined by cheating hard drive flashing *****'s enough said rant over lol

The only console i used with pirate games was my ps1

I felt like it spoiled the games a little, because i was getting them for nothing, i had toooo many of them, very rarely playing them properly, but if i spent say 30-40quid on a game, and initially hated it, i would give it another chance (or three) sometimes discovering an amazing game, that i would have passed over.

So my Ps2 was never chipped.
The 360 was never touched (all three of them lol)
My Sega Saturn under my bed was never touched (not sure they could be fiddled with though)

As Jacko says a lot of new games are totally worth 40quid all day long, i got around 65hours from Mass Effect 2, and bought most of the extra DLC for it, as its worth it.

The ****ty games you just pick up when they are cheap, like Dark Void i picked up a few weeks back for 7 quid (its crap)


My old Amiga was rife with copied discs though, although i did buy a lot of new games (mainly the blockbusters)

My Spectrum 48k was given to me at christmas with a collection of copied cassettes, so not the best start in the world

I think its a bit of hoax, something that has happened a few times re the PS3.
And to call it Jailbroken, indicates that it was something done by Geohot, who was the first person to apparently exploit the system, but has made it clear a few month back, that he is no longer persuing it as a venture.

if your on about the graphics its being recorded through a video camera on a telly you can tell by the way the screen keeps moving side to side and showing the black frame of the telly

I've had both consoles, infact i sold my PS3 to a fella on here. It was a pile of junk, no better than a dusty paper weight.

The picture you showed could relate to two pieces i've read regarding the PS3, one company of being given them and another company bought them because they were cheaper than a dedicated server. Either way it proves nothing about the ability of the PS3 as a gaming machine only that A: Sony needed some cheap advertisemnt or B: Sony subsidize the PS3 so greatly that they are doing their Server department out of business.

No point being over engineered if you can't harness the capablities for your target audience.

i understand what your saying and ok they havent released its full potential yet but if you look at games like mas effect 2 amazing graphics better than any other console out there so i think there the one to have with a blue ray player web browser and mine is the original 60 gig so it has thecard readers making it easy to view pictures on a big screen

They will never release it's "full potential" as it has none. People are preferring xbox's kinect to the ps3 version already.

IMO I feel the ps3 is the weakest console. I've had both and still have the xbox. But waiting a hour for GT5: prologue to update something is a bit of a **** take.

Now that Sony are starting to charge for online play they may be able to compete, how they thought they'd compete with Xbox Live for free is beyond me.
