Recorded messages while on hold
They are as we all know very annoying, but imagine this (prob been done I know)
How many of you talk while on hold, either something private to someone at home/work, or responding to the automated messages like when you are told after 10 mins of being on hold "your call is important to us"
Now imagine that everything you are saying is being listened to or recorded lol
I would love to hear some of the comments, conversations etc that people would have recorded.
I know, I for one would be caught with sarcasm at 110% in response to "we will answer your call as soon as possible." etc

Inland revenue used to be awful...the hold music was deafening. Greensleeves at 110decibels on a 30second loop is somewhat distracting in an office environment.
Which is an issue as the volume on my works speakerphone isn't adjustable. I ended up having to put several layers of sellotape over the speaker, so now I can't hear it ring, well that's my excuse (sometimes not hearing it ring is advantageous ).
I've been tempted to modify our switch borad and put some on hold music/messages on there...but only use it when I'm on hold (i.e putting the on-hold call on hold ), using something like Mr Blobby for hold music.
