Just a bit bored at the moment. So what was the first film you watched at cinema?
I remember going to our long-gone local cinema on Saturday mornings for a cheapo cinema club. They used to show old British Pathé black & white films (!!!). I am still traumatized to this day by "Puff the Magic Dragon".
My first proper new-release films were "A Bridge too Far" with my Dad at another long-gone local cinema and "Star Wars" with my Uncle & Auntie both in 1977.
I am old, aren't I?

Jungle Book, basically my mum always tells the story of taking me and my Cousin, we just crawled round under the seats and I came up with a half chewed Toffee stuck to me.
My younger Brothers first film was ET, the youngish guy behind had been drinking heavily and got up puked over my mum and brother, my dad gave him a slap

Can't remember whether it was Snow White or Bambi now.
My mum took me to see "the Bodysnatchers" when I was very young, she did not realise what it was all about and I had nightmares after thet!

I started to go to the pictures since I was under 5. There has been massive big-screen culture in India, which still hasn't faded away even after the invasion of DVD players and in-home Plasmas. When I was a kid, the excitement for going to see a film in theatre was unreal! At the age of 4, I was fancying an Indian actor called Jeetendra , even when he wore the cheesiest, white, skin-tight trousers, and had an owl's nest for his hair. Those were the days PMSL

My ex took his mum to watch Shallow Grave for her 60th birthday.
He also got me the DVD of an old film called Damien child 2 or 3, just a day before I gave birth to our second child. I bow to his thoughtfulness.

It was a horse galloping I seem to remember.
Didn't last long, but was good value for a farthing.

Jaws on a rainy day whilst holidaying in Cornwall. My Mum didn't go in the sea the rest of the holiday, me and my brother were intrigued by the basking sharks however.
