My heart sinks every time I get one. I try my damnedest to get her to get a male colleague, but no, she will try and answer me.

I then go through explaining what I want, and after a short silence, she says, "Let me ask my colleague."

Sure enough, two minutes later, the male colleague is on the line, but has she asked him? Nope. Has she told him what I want? Nope.

So I have to go through the explanation AGAIN. What a waste of time.

Females on technical helplines: DON'T ATTEMPT TO ANSWER QUESTIONS YOU CAN'T.

In our line of business (computer software) females are much better at support than males
