No Fee Cash Withdrawals Abroad
Was looking at the most convenient ways to get access to our cash whilst travelling in Oz & Nz. Came across the Halifax Clarity Credit Card which charges no fees on purchases abroad or even cash withdrawals. Interest is charged on withdrawals straight away but you can get around this by transferring money in before you leave.

Is there a more convenient & safer way to access your cash abroad?

Nationwide Flex account. I don't think they charge for any cash withdrawal.
I have an HSBC Advance account for £12 a month and I don't think I get charged either.

I'd have a good look at some of the pre-paid cash cards, such as Travelex or CaxtonFX
CaxtonFX appear to have no charges and (along with Travelex) are a Which? "Best Buy"...

Certainly looks good to me!

I forgot about the travelex card I used this for my holiday in turkey, the cash machine in turkey let me draw English money so did just that and got a better exchange rate over there.
