autoglass man just been to me to fit a windscreen did not seem very happy to be honest he said that Rac sold the company to someone, they sold it to someone else and then someone else bought it.

It amazes me how autoglass get any work, They were 4times more expensive than a local windowscreen fitter when I needed mine done!

I think they get the work as everyone has heard of them, they are everywhere and will come out at any time. For insurers its just the one number they need, rather than having a large directory for where lots of different people are all over the country.

....I don't think I would want to use them though

Cant complain at the work done when they changed the screen on my car a little while ago. Very helpful bloke too.

They did my last cars windscreen - 05 STI

Seemed like a good job - no mess, no damage
