Worst ever World Cup defeat.

Did Capello do the best with what he had and our players were rubbish - or are our players just not good enough on a world stage.

Rooney epitomises our players - he was dreadful for the whole tournament.

How many manager have England gone through since 1966, nine? surely all of them can't have been wrong?

Bottom line is you have won it once 'ever' probably more down the the fact it was played at home than anything else, you guys seriously over estimate your selfs TBH.

I am not sure I am overestimating anything - just pondering whether everyone will blame Don Fabio; or whether we will really find a root cause.

root cause = the 11 overpaid, over-hyped buffoons on the pitch. Didn't bother to watch as the outcome was predictable, didn't quite expect the goal difference to be so wide though, just an added bonus!!!!

I have a substantial amount riding on Germany to win, if they do, my ill gotten gains stand to benefit my local prem baby unit. C'mon on Germany....

You could of put out a team from the championship and they would of played better with more passion. Overpaid tossers.

ps I would of played better than Wayne Rooney

Maybe you personally do or don't, but alot of people do. Before even a ball was kicked reading the papers and listening to the commentators England were already in the final and winning the competition, the arrogance of some people was nothing short of shocking TBH.

They can blame Don Fabio if they want they probably will as there is always a scape goat for very failure, me personally I blame 11 players on the field more than anything, like I said surely every manager since 66 has not got it wrong?

England were meant to be the ones with the experience, but their naivety in defending was astounding.

Sorry mate - I don't write for the media - at best I am a naive fan who only tunes into football once every couple of years for the European and World Championship .

Anything outside the premier league and our players get shown for what they are, they were outpaced and outplayed.I must say from all the world cups i can remember this has got to be the worse performance i have ever watched.Just gonna wait to hear the excuses from the players, woulda shoulda coulda,I'm listening to talksport now stan collymore is furious,he just said is rooney really world class, one answer to you collymore NO they were outpaced and outplayed.Poor performance from the start.I glad i didn't splash out going to South Africa, some guy on the radio said he remortgage his house to go and watch England...

Not a big fan of football but do watch the World Cup.
What a disappointment. If I did my job as bad as our squad did theirs today, I would expect the sack

Film of the Day - BBC 1 - 4:45pm - 'Out of Africa'
__

Good job England spent all week practising penalties. Good for Germany that is !
__

Future England matches have been moved to the gay adult channel. Apparently the sight of 11 ar$eholes getting hammered for 90 minutes is too explicit for BBC.
__

I blame David Cameron for cutting the defence budget.
__

David Blaine is said to be gutted as his record for doing **** all in a box for 42 days has been broken by Wayne Rooney

I was lucky enough (old enough) to be around when England won it in 66. Since then, as above.

The England team are to get a new coach, to pick them up from the airport

It's been confirmed they're flying into Glasgow airport, to ensure a heroes welcome.

Flooding in northern England has been found to have nothing to do with the weather. Apparently five million Scots have p!ssed themselves this afternoon.
