Seems every village along the A30 has a couple, but shouldn't be nailing it through them anyway 
A303 out from Dawlish is packed out with them (not sure if that's Cornwall tho!).

From what I remember there is one on the A30 at a place called Kennards House (in a dip)
Staying on the A30 one at the far end of the Goss Moor (you should see that one)
Depending on where your going there's one in Truro by the football club.
Thats all I can think of at the mo but will post more if I can think of where the others are.

Unless they've moved it recently there's one at the bottom of the valley at a place called Polyphant on the A30 going East. And going west on the A30 there has been an intermittent one on the single-carriageway bit before you get to Indian Queens. They tend to site them behind big road signs so you only find out too late... so much for the damn things being a safety measure!
