How much for a patio?

Question

Thinking of paving my patio in thiose little red bricks. Area is about 12 by 4 metres. Anyone know rough price thast this would cost.

If u wait til I'm back in work on Tuesday, I'll check my pricing book and let u know the cost per square metre for paviors including the bedding etc.

Are these 200*100*50 pavers? You will need 50 per square meter. I am getting 4000 to match our existing drive for 1350.00. Most people seem to be quoting between 10.00 and 18.00 per square meter for laying. You will need 2400 pavers so probably a grand for materials and maybe 500 quid for labour. UK prices could be higher though. You can get really really cheap red pavers (12p each) watch out for these cos the dye in them is crap and they fade to a variety of grey or white in a year. (My neighbour put down a load of these last year )

Had my drive blocked paved at xmas

Cost £26 per sq mtr parts and labour plus £100 for 2 of the block paving type manhole covers

Block size (in mm's) 200x100x60

As yours is for a patio the 50mm thick block's will do, otherwise use 60mm or 80mm for drives

I had a pattern done using 4 diff colour blocks...looks real good
