I see there is a note at the bottom of the full results to say that Subaru amongst a few others aren't in the survey.

Why is that?

Probably not sold enough cars to warrant inclusion is my guess. How to fall from the top of the tree to obscurity in 10 years - good going Subaru LOL!

Its all a lot of old cobblers anyway.

Most of us will buy the car that we personally like regardless of all such listings. We all have our own different requirements.

The Impreza, being Number 1 in this survey in 1998, 1999, 2000? Had a massive bearing on whether I bought or not.

I bought, and it has proved beyond all doubt to have been a solid purchase

Then, they started adding cost of ownership to the survey ... and Subaru drifted out of sight. So did their sales!

Personally, I think it has a huge influence on what people think of certain cars.

The Subaru of today is very rare - not enough numbers to get a reliable score ..... what a fall in 10 years

Shame about Subaru. But i think it's great how Jaguar are doing.

KIA is no surprise really, with their warranties, and ever improving build quality they are good cars....it's just a shame that if you have any car knowledge at all then they are embarrassing

Much like Skoda when they started becoming good.
