What do you use?

I have a Tom Tom in my car, but hardly ever use it and don't update it much.

Wife has just been hit twice in the last 2 months for creeping over the 30MPH whilst she's in auto pilot enroute to work.

TBH I know little about them, have heard of Road Angel and the Snooper, also understand sat nav will do the trick.

Do they all require annual updates?

I guess she would like something that can audibly bleep her, but I am open to comments as to what you think is the simplest, most effective, easiest, etc.

I have had a Snooper for quite some time now. It is spot on with warnings of an approaching zone and it used to warn when it detected the radar signals too. It won't do that any more and I suspect that Gatso radar must have been changed to something undetectable by my snooper. It will still detect K band radar of shop doors etc and also Laser signals. Everything else works as on the tin!
