Waiting for Business leaders eating humble pie
I await all them business leaders retrieving there support, that raising NI was a bad idea.
Well it is still happening under the Tories now is it not or is it a damn good idea now then.
You could also go on to the Tories now in power wanting to stay there, they change that you need more votes to get a vote of no confidence passed.
Its very much out with Gord in with Morecombe and little Ern
Bring me sunshine right enough, but at least the English voted for them so its all your fault so you read it here first

Seems the Tories in Disguise Party and the 'Old Tories' have started as they mean to go on by immediately raising the Commons majority needed for a vote of no confidence in the current Government from 50 to 55%. This is disgraceful and a complete contradiction to the Lib Dem claims about improving democratic representation. Electoral reform is apparently only for the rest of us.

As for the rise in NI, I have seen it rumoured but seen no confirmation yet, so will pay more attention then.
Either way, I am still happy with how its turned out.
I think the no confidence thing is related to this other thread I found on another forum. Written by a Labour activist it makes a shocking read
However you then read the explaination of it and it makes more sense, with less spin.

As for the NI, what has been stated is there will be a partial reversal. I would speculate that empoyers NI will remain the same, but employee's NI will go up by 1%, an increase that will more than be offset by the change in the tax threshhold to £10,000, so your average employee will still be better off.
The explanation makes perfect sense and seems entirely reasonable. To be honest mate, you would expect nothing less than pathetic scaremongering from a Labour activist

It made good sense to me when I read it and took the time to understand it too, unlike the nutty activists who just read one word and make their own interpretations of things lol.
As for the NI, I had read rumour of what you say too, and again I agree, I am sure I will survive somehow. Main thing is we get the country out of this crap. I guess we just have to accept the loony comments about Brown would not have done this, and life was great under Blair. Ignoring the facts lol
