I just think its crap! People you have not tried to make contact with since you left school try to add you as a friend on a daily basis, hint if I haven't tried to make contact in years there could be a valid reason. Same goes for work colleagues who now think you are "friends" and family.
I'm also not interested in people needing a gun for mafia wars or a cow for their farm. Then you have idiots who join groups for one legged dogs not knowing that its all just a way of gaining information.
Who needs compulsory ID cards when everyones willing to have facebook?

I quite like it BTW just for some of the reasons you stated above, people I went to school with but then disapeared off the radar so to speak I can now catch up with etc etc
P.S will you join my Mafia?

Its good for me, met a lot of people backpacking and its great to keep in touch/look at photo's etc. Also my brother is overseas in the army so great way to keep in contact.
However, I just ignore all that farm wars, gang bangers and chicken throwing tosh and the only person permitted to 'poke' me is Jessica Alba

I have a facebook account, look at it once or twice a week tops. Everything in moderation. One friends seems permenantly glued to it day and sometimes night by the number and frequency of posts.

Only reason we'd think of using it would be to find a nephew of the gf who 'disappeared' ten plus years ago , was doing a course here and is prolly up north somwhere
But if he doesnt want to be found he aint goina be
Also gf daughter in Aus . But then thats actually what mobile phones were designed for
(not checking the temperature/windspeed / million other pointless paraphenalia apps.)

Hi Lee, no, not a comment about you/your fb activity actually a Jenny's niece, 15 years old and apparently a member of pretty each and every club/group/community fb has to offer. Also vastly overweight and could do with going out and getting some exercise rather than fb 24/7 - IMHO of course

Has anyone read the t&c's for using the apps like the farming game? Shocking abuse of your private information in terms of pretty much being able to do what ever they like with your personal details and can't believe so many people are happy for their personal info to be used in such a way. I can only assume many if not most haven't read the t&c's.

I have never been tempted to go anywhere near it, and have to say I don't understand all that happens on it. I have only stuck with SN and don't think I will change the situation.

Only 300 members though, that leaves a lot of target market for the future. Publicity saved the plane, that's a given, Facebook is a relatively easy platform especially if you can enchant the young.

i cant stand it either tbh i get sick of the pillocks on there who cant read the in a relationship part and seem to think its ok to continuously pm my mrs trying to get her to meet up with them and being very over friendly. she blocks them and thats fine but its still annoying. also i swear to god some people are pure and simply addicted to it and need to get a life lol just my opinion everyone to there own i suppose.
