After reading many reviews Ive narrowed down my choice to Canon or Fuji and the above model numbers. Anyone have any opinions good or bad on either and whether its worth paying the extra £50 for the higher models?

Im leaning towards the Canon Ixus 300 at the moment as it looks a better size/shape than the Fujis but just wondering if anyone has any experience of either before I take the plunge.

Simon.

unbeatable.co.uk are £335 but add delivery on that and Id rather drive around the corner and pay £349 so I can take it back if it breaks.

Try a Minolta Dimage X. Smallest and lightest digital camera on the market, and in your price range too.

Ixus V was £319 at www.askdirect.com when I got mine.
64Mb CF cars are £17 at www.7dayshop.com

Good camera I think comes with good software too.

Always had Canon equipment never had any problems.. Bought an s40 before Christmas and the software, which I'm presuming is standard, is really good and easy to use... My partner has a film ixus and loves it...

Hello

The fuji 6800 is great.

It's £400 from here http://www.ny-camera.net/ and £420 from here www.nomatica.co.uk.

The Ixus V2 funnily enough - I did notice this and I may wait and see if the introduction drops the price of the older models by much.
