The end of the day this is what shows up people imho, you can either go with the crap they speak or look at the world around you and history.
The markets they refer to are fragile, and when companies bet on whether things will get better or worse or stay as they are a hung parliament will make the futures sector jittery. And if they see no political action (being a hung parliament) they will bet that things will get worse (rightly so), and sell stocks in Sterling £ and buy up Euros and Dollars, thus weakening the pound and driving up prices in our shops, as its not as if we make much here now. This can happen to such an extent that our debt gets out of control (Greece and Portugal) and were in a world of trouble. We have the largest debt (deficit) of all the major EU countries, so we`re in a precarious position.
You either get more money thrown at the markets to sort it out, or you take them by the scruff of the neck and sort them out. And Labour would throw money, Liberals are in a dream world as they are very optimistic about our recovery and financial state, or do as the Tories say and manage our debt, cut back on fat in Government and get the debt sorted. Same as people do in their own lives, cut back on non-essentials and scrimp and save to sort the debt, then live happily. Not take out an Ocean finance loan for 30 years and mess things up for years to come.
We are in this mess now as we sold a lot of our Gold reserves a few years ago, Gordon instead of just selling them broadcast months in advance it was gonna happen, this drove the cost of gold down (as there was gonna be a large amount to be sold soon) so when he did sell the gold it was at a record low price, now gold is through the roof we have sod all to sell and to protect our economy. Labour don`t want you to know that, so poo poo any idea about things getting worse. Wasn`t it them who claimed to have ended "boom and bust" and have just led us into the worst recession since the second world war?? But atleast we had a reason for the second world war.
At the end of the day which party is saying It CAN get worse, and unless we sort our debt this country is heading for trouble?? Certainly isn`t Labour!
Anyways said my bit lol.

On the upside, Pete will be royally ****ed along with the rest of us if Labour get re-elected. Spending will increase, taxation will increase and good luck to anyone with a public sector pension.
We should be concerned with who's policies will actually work moving forwards, not who is the "toughest" in a dick swinging contest.

Ah yes, Clegg and the LibDems ... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/elec...uncovered.html
"... In York, the Tory website was hacked into and redirected to the local Lib Dem one; in Cornwall, a Lib Dem candidate distributed flyers calling his opponent a "greasy-haired ****"; in Liverpool, a Lib Dem councillor was caught stuffing letterboxes with leaflets supposedly from a fringe party which smeared his Labour rival as a "lap-dancer".
Lest we think these merely local excesses, it may be worth quoting from an official Liberal Democrat election manual, Effective Opposition, obtained by The Daily Telegraph, published by the Association of Liberal Democrat Councillors in 2002 and still in use, judging by the techniques seen around the country. On page 21, it instructs Lib Dems to "be wicked, act shamelessly, stir endlessly". Page 23 advises: "Don't be afraid to exaggerate. For example, responses to surveys and petitions are always 'massive'. If a council is doing something badly, public expressions are always of 'outrage'." Page 4 advises: "Positive campaigning will NOT be enough to win." ..."

I may vote Labour they are doing a great job of borrowing us out of trouble. it's okay though because that d1ckhead who cannot even coordinate the colour of his hair and eyebrows, let alone an economic recovory has stated it is less than he forecast.

Gordon Clown is only interested in reform now to save his own skin. Labour have had huge majorities before so have not cared about "reform" until now, all this cosying up to the lib dems is just a desperate act to cling onto power so he can somehow ram these reforms in.
Then he can ditch the lib dems and call an election once his reformed election system ensures Labour another win.

How about telling us how successful he has been having pissed the country's money against the wall destroying the strong economy he inherited, then continued overborrowing to make the economy artificially good even though it was going down the tubes the whole time, allowed the bankers to profit by their greed stopping any significant form of regulation by the FSA until they set off the recession, and now he has borrowed against our grandchildrens cash to an unprecedented extent to "save the country and the world" such that the GNP will find it a real problem to pay off the interest on the £1.5 trillion National debt. He will have to borrow to pay off the interest! Peter and Paul come to mind!
Please tell us what kind of a successful economic story that is, if you can!

You should think about that. How can even a well hung parliament achieve anything useful when the parties just would never agree about what should be done. The major party would become the dog being wagged by the tail and this country would become weaker and suffer seriously as a result.
You really have to make up your mind which style of government you prefer and vote for them rather then tactically. Anything else is a waste of time.
I'm sure thats what you really meant

Vote Yellow, get Brown.
The only way to get Labour out is a vote for the Tories.
The Lib-Dems want to:-
Disarm Britain of Nuclear capabilities.
Join the Euro
Give illegal immigrants and amnesty to stay in Britain.
The Tories will:-
Keep a Nuclear deterant
Not join the Euro
Get powers back from Brussels that Labour gave away (Brussels don't want a Tory government for this reason.
Raise Inheritance Tax (Which will benefit most people who has either a family home, or parents with a family home and savings in the bank)
Cap immigrants coming into Britain.
Why are people even considering voting Lib-Dem?
How can anyone vote Labour back in?

Crime falls 7% in England and Wales
OH, dear ... another great success for Labour ... and I was starting to swing away from them, then this happens!
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/8636798.stm
"The figures show that the risk of being a victim of crime remains historically low at 22%. The number of people who said the police were doing a good or excellent job rose from 53% to 56%.
The figures also show that the number of people who believe they are suffering from a "high level" of anti-social behaviour has fallen from 17% to 15%, the lowest figure since the measure was introduced almost a decade ago.
In effect, that meant that fewer people were complaining about abandoned cars, rowdiness or drunken behaviour in public places, drug dealing, gangs of teenagers, litter and vandalism"
Remember 1997 under the Tories when Crime was rife?
It's taken 13 years but Labour have proven that they are tough on crime and tough on the causes of crime.
Vote the Tories back in at your peril!!

Labour tough on crime and the causes of crime??
You are having a giraffe surely?

Labour is the reason this place is in the state it is, but you are right about the Tories they are as **** as Labour
