My guppy gave birth :-)
Came home to find her giving birth, not sure how many she might have had before I got home, but one of my danio's ate one right before my eyes.
Anyway, the rest (all 12) are now happy and hopefully safe in the trap.
Here are some pics, if you can spot them.

They are crap for two reasons. One because I used my I phone, and two because they are in a plastic tank inside my tank with all finger prints from the kids everywhere.
Just gotta feed them every 4 hours now!

Do you find your Danios to be quite agressive?
We bought a zebra danio and a leopard danio, the zebra danio was constantly chasing and bullying all the other fish, we had to take it out in the end.
The leopard danio has since calmed down now we've placed 2 larger live bearers in the tank.

I have 3 zebras and yep, they are agressive. Well to be honest they have never caused any major problems, but they are a bit nippy.
However they are now about 3 years old, so they are starting to chill out a little. I find my barbs are a lot worse now!
Needless to say, the fry are staying safe in the plastic trap, and I ordered a breeding trap on Sunday, so they can stay safe and sound.

I did think that though. It isn't down to them liking to be in a group, it's moreso if there is a larger group of that breed, and a snappy one at that, they are less likely to bother the other fish, and keep to themselves.
They won't get sad in there own or anything, lol! They are just more likely to pick on the other fish. So it's best having them in a group of 6.
Down to old age I only have 3 and they are happy just getting on with things. I also only have 2 cherry barbs, again down to old age and the others dying, but they ate also very happy. One male and one female.... VERY happy fish!
