Default AA Renewals

Just had my breakdown renewal from the AA and my cover has gone from £13.66pcm to £18.04pcm, no callouts this year either. So I checked online and new customers get it for £11.38pcm, that's loyalty for you

So I phone, select option 4 (thinking of leaving the AA) and get told 'we are too busy dealing with breakdowns, please call back'
I immediately phone back and select option 3 for membership enquiries and get in a queue, better than being cut off I suppose. Anyway, after getting through to Kofi I am now getting it at £11.38pcm

Can't believe the cheeky ******* though

Got mine through recently at £128 for the year.

I phoned up and said - errr no, I'm not paying that.

Them: "ok, we can do it for £71 for you"

Me: mmm ok then

They rely on thousands of people not bothering to haggle each year and just paying up.
