Hehe if we (ManUtd) win Ill just remember back to before Xmas when Liverpool were 11 points ahead with a game in hand. The fact that we are still only 1 point off Liverpool at this stage after losing 8 games makes me chuckle. Makes it a bit more exciting that '99 when we won with 91 points IIRC - 18 ahead of the nearest team Arsenal. The only 2 times we've lost the premiership has been by a single point which is a slim margin by anyones book.
Hopefully it comes down to the last day - nothing better than the shaking, nail chewing feeling you get watching every kick of the ball in the hope that you team can do the deed.

FASTERMIKE Your season finished when Bellamy got crocked and even tho' you done the double were still gonna nick 4th spot, starting with a win this Saturday against That Carp United that can't score
Super Leeds
SCOTTSSCOOBY Don't let them scousers nick it or we'll never hear the end of it

Newcastle United will come out of the shadows to nail you all.
Really clever ploy pretending Bellamy was crocked and letting the Top 3 race off into a *seemingly* uncatchable position.
Just you lot wait
As for Leeds - pah! Leeds who ?

Let's just see what happens in May when the trophies are handed out .
The smart money has to be on Arsenal even w/out Pires. Liverpool have what seems to be the easiest run in and United the hardest with most away games. Lots of points still to be dropped.
One thing in United's favour is experience of this situation.
And if the sheep ******** () beat us on Saturday we can definitely kiss the title goodbye.

I am a Gooner till the very end but I am not so confident we will win it this year, look how we choked at Juve when we should have kicked their ar$es. I do believe it could come down to the last game of the season which maybe us vs ManU, will be a cracker but could be as close as who ever wins that game wins the title, if its a draw then Liverpool take it. I strongly believe it will go to the wire and without Pires we have lost half of our senior creativity with us now relying on Bergkamp, and hoping Edu matures into another great creative Brazilian to step into Pires's shoes. Whoever wins it this year it will be a fantastic achievement and its been the best season I can remember with it being so competitive. I hope it continues to be this way instead of one team storming it, even if that team was to be Arsenal, I much prefer seeing a close race and it being interesting. There are now 3 truly top teams in the Premiership instead of 1 and 2 close runners, and hopefully this will increase to 5 once Leeds and Chelsea sort their teams out.

[Firstly with apologies to the GENUINE fan of their local (or by ancestory) premiership team]
Who gives a flying **** about the Premiersh*t ??????????????????
Just half the wage bill of one of these Primadonna clubs would keep clubs like mine (close to extinction) going for another few years.
These are clubs with REAL fans who will go hundreds of miles on a cold winters night knowing their team hasn't got a chance in hell of winning.
These are not glory fans exiting Surrey in droves ready to jump on the Liverpool, Man Utd, Arsenal bandwagon and jump off at the first opportunity when times get tough.
The good news is that the bubble is starting to burst. ITV Digital will win the right to reduce their payments to FL clubs of that I have no doubt. Some clubs, mine included, will go to the wall as a DIRECT result of this. The precedent has been set and SKY will be next in line for a substancially less bid next time around.
Feed the rich starve the poor while you can.
When the bubble bursts, the TV money dries up and the middle classes exit soccer in droves the smaller clubs that are left will probably have a better chance of survival because they won't have large players contracts to honour.
What goes around comes around, although unfortunately there will be about a dozen casualties along the way.

[RANT BACK ON]
Oh and while I'm in this mood what is the point of the "CHAMPIONS" League, where winning the Championship is not essential ???????
Oh yes I remember, another excuse to feed the rich.

We do, the fans who have stuck with their teams all their lives, through thick and thin. And if your team were in the Premiership you would too
