CCTV camera with audio required
Hi,
I need a CCTV camera with audio to monitor my dogs alleged barking.
I was just about to buy a DVR kit from Maplins but noticed that none of the cameras seem to come with audio.
Could someone please point me in the direction of a 'good' camera?
Cheers
Paul.

Without even seeing your dogs I can guarantee they will be barking when you are not there!
how about setting up a microphone connected to a pc, then you can run it through a program and see at what times they are barking without listening to it?

Do a search on IP CCTV Camera's.
You can get them with audio capabilities and you can view them from your mobile or any pc. You could keep an eye on the camera during the day and monitor for yourself.

J4mou! A blast from the past! How the hell are you my good man?
Ended up going for this:
250GB 4 Channel H.264 Network DVR with 2 x CCD Security Cameras : DVR Kits : Maplin
and I'll be soldering up a mic to stick out too.
I'll see what the cameras are like and if need be I'll upgrade them. It can also be monitored via network which is nice. I'll be able to shout at the dogs from a remote location, excellent.
I've talked to the closest neighbours (nearest 100m or so away) and others who walk their dogs and none of them say the dogs make an unreasonable amount of noise. They may bark if someone/thing approaches the gates but...well, we'll find once the system arrives.
