My girlfriend has been thinking of this for a while as everyone tells her too. She's quite a modest person so wont really look at how to do it herself.

Does anybody have any idea? I know scoobynet is rammed full of stunning model-type girls so i thought this would be a good place to ask.....

Just for the record shes not heavily into doing it, its just everyone she knows keeps telling her to do it and has done for a while, and she had some photos done for a mate of hers who is trying to be a photographer, (shes in college doing photography or something i think) and since she had the pics taken her family have all told her to do it. So if she doesn't make anything of it she wont care.

My Mrs got approached by a couple of freelance guys working for Bizarre magazine about 18 months ago whilst on a night out. All legit and no funny business. She's got the dark hair and pale complexion - slightly different looking which I like. And she likes the old fashioned 40's hour glass look when dressing up so seemed perfect for an 'alternative' type mag. She never got in touch though as she didn't wanna do topless or semi nekkid which is fair enough.

Would have been good to have a "model" Mrs though as there looks to be reet dirty looking beehatchs in Bizarre

Send some pics in to a reputable agency. They'll let you know.

Make sure she goes to reputable agencies. And remember, good agencies do not expect potential models to pay any money for pics etc.

Yeah i'm the same, there are some even more random ones in mine. This is the only website i use photobucket for too. Although i think i figured out how to only show pictures i link to although i'm not 100%. Very pretty GF you have mate, i think she should give it ago as at least she'll know if she likes it and then will never wonder 'what if'.

A friend of mine from school does it, she started when we left school about 15 years ago now.

She has a great look and she gets a lot of work - but for what she gets paid, considering he career might be over in another 4 or 5 years, I dont think its worth it.

Lots of driving to shoots, standing around in the freezing cold and not really getting paid *that much* in the grand scheme of things.... I think there are better things to do tbh.

The missus has been modelling now for 10 yrs,its very hard to get anywhere now unless you are in Nuts/FHM topless.

when she 1st started,it was alot better,more professional

she has been in Zest,Nuts,FHM,daily sport but all genuine decent kinda articles,not just baps out for an ogle, cancer research,alot of breast cancer awareness stuff,even the daily sport was professional on this one !!

She was on Men and motors as well,but back in the day when it was not as cheesy.

All changed now tho unfortunately,when she started,girl next door look was just kicking off,hence her success,but everybody does it now.

If she is genuinely interested then the 1st place to start and get some TFP shots would be Net-Model.com - Online portfolios for Models, Photographers, Agencies, and Stylists. very good site,The togs are well respected and will offer TFP and even CDFP etc

It is a relationship breaker,the women get very cocky and think they are it etc,they all say they wont to start with,but when loads of guys are oggling them,togs praising them,they soon get big headed,they ALL do !!!

I did some back in the day, nothing rude, just high street fashion, and the money was rubbish, you do get travel allowance, but if the work takes you on a 3hour plus drive that's a lot if travel for nothing.

She will have to consider exactly what she wants to do, and what she might be willing to do.

If she works flexible hours then great, but often you might get a call on Mon night asking you to be in Manchester at 9.00. So you need to be able to just drop things and go. That way you can at least leave yourself open to as much work as possible.

As per The Rig's statement, if she gets into it, you can pretty much wave goodbye to her. its a "pedestal position" & will change her.

If you can handle all that & the extra attention she will get, then good on you, otherwise, prepare to bail out if her career takes off. Remember, there is only one parachute in the aeroplane of love!
