Woken at 4am on monday with car alarm going off, switched it off using the key fob and a few mins later it goes off again, after several times I finally leave the car unlocked as I didnt fancy going out to the car.

Nothing wrong with car in the morning and it seems impossible to set the car alarm off by touching / rocking the car.

Alarm set all next day at work and fine no probs, at home 11.30 pm and alarm goes off again with similar circumstances, again next day fine.

Wednesday / Thursday same thing happens, so far tonight it has not gone off.

Ive changed the battery in the key fob on wednesday so that didnt help.

Any ideas why, Model is Cobra 6422

I seem to remember that when you unlock and lock the car with the fob it used to beep ( I think , only had the car a year ) and now it does not.

The instruction booklet states the dealer as Ital Audio in Watford but the helpline is now no longer and BT have no listings.

Is there a new Cobra agent or does the company not exsist any more.

Any help appreciated.

Question

Could also be a spider squatting over an internal motion sensor, or a magic tree flapping about
