BT Minin Smart Meter
Anyone installed one of the BT smart meters ?
Thinking of getting one,are they tottaly wireless ?
Does the transmitter work off a clamp around the Meter output ?
Are transmitter and reciever both battery powered ?
Best place to buy ??

Not seen these but was thinking of getting one of these ... e2 Wireless Electricity Monitor | efegyThe e2 energy meter has PC Software package so you can track your electricity usage.
No idea if your BT meter is fixed but this can be moved from house to house. Used a previous model (borrowed for a day) and found several ways to get power use.
If the BT one does similar then it's worth it.

Interesting first comment from 'Tom' as well.
The one I used had more or less this functionality. i.e. it was fine for instantaneous readings but you didn't get graphs of your daily usage etc. That's why I'd go for the more expersive one with PC connectivity.
