LHR on a Monday
Off to NY on Monday morning on an 8.20 flight. Thought I'd leave Swindon at 5, sound about right to get there and park up? M4 not that bad at 6-630am is it?

I'd go with Scarey's time TBH.
Are you flying with BA out of T5, or another carrier? It makes a difference as T5 is just off the M25, the other terminals can be another 20mins+ depending on traffic.
You're getting into the peak at that time and the terminals, therefore security will be busy.
Alternatively, £25 gets you a room in the Travelodge Sunday night.
