How can the judge can pass such a pathetic sentence on these scumbags? It seems that short of actually killing someone an intruder can get away with pretty much anything. However, if you're the one defending your home and the lives yourself and family, there is nothing you can do in the eyes of the law. That's a great message to send out to would-be criminals.
