went there today , then over to waterthorpe, a57 loads and loads of poilce cars at least 3 new evo,s volvo,s unmarked cars motor bikes the lot ,
then i saw why one of them white vans (dvla) ????

 

And when you get burgled it'll take them three days to not show up and eventually you'll have to phone them to get a crime number

 

I have seen them quite a few times (mainly volvo's) past Meadowhell on the M1 towards Leeds. They get a few vans on one of the bridges and a series of police cars lined up further down to pull you over for whatever reason.

It is like a tag team.

 

Meadowhell is an ANPR hot-spot. One of the first places outside London to be encircled with cameras. Bradford is also riddled, forcing the ******* from there to come into Leeds to do their thievery.

 

I was watching TV yesterday about how Notts Police didn't have enough money to protect those people that got murdered

Funny how they ALWAYS have money for speed cameras, red light cameras, etc though, isn't it?

Notts Chief Constable= waste of space.

It happened at York a while back. They get cars and vans to circle an area and pull over anything they think might be sus. When they did it in York there were something like 20 cars and bikes including Evos and Scoobs in 11 miles of the A64.

 

Sheffield Parkway is a more common spot for ANPR, but the Mosborough Parkway is their favourite alternative. Im not aware of a 'ring of ANPR cameras' around Meadowhall: youll see them at the bottom of the Parkway though, as you enter the city, on the tram bridge.

 

Yesterday they were on the A57 (Attercliff) near medowhall .
