Default Jeans... funky trendy ones.

Good evening.

I'm off to a Trance night out next Friday night (Digital Society 3rd bithday party) with a couple of mates. I've got a brilliant t-shirt to wear and some comfortable tidy trainers (as raving for 8 hours in shoes or boots doesn't appeal).

But I'd like a pair of nice jeans for the night. Not bothered if they're branded or designer etc, but I'd like a funky sort of trendy pair. Something like dark blue with stitching or light blue wear marks. Something different but not o.t.t. ghastley. Looking for straight cut or relaxed fit without being to baggy as I'd like them comfy too and not uber tight Travolta style.

I'm a short leg (30") and have upto £40 to spend for the right pair (last of the big spenders but I don't earn much so...).

Any help/suggestions/dwarf jokes welcome

I've had some really good jeans for sub £15 from Primark, infact most my work shirts and pants are from there as it does the job and is cheap to buy

We haven't a Primarni in Scunny yet so may be tempted to pop to Doncaster or Meadowhall stores for a nosey.

TK Maxx is a good place to look. You have loads of designer type stuff in there. It can be a nightmare finding what you want but the chances are you will get something really good at a bargain price.

Now bear in mind, I am older than you and may have selected something far too old fashioned by your standards

See what's on offer here. Often 20% or so off codes on top as well if you google. Good search options to filter your size and style.

Hollister!!! I get about 70% of my clothes from there, and the other 30% from Ted baker. Both places do great jeans

you should beable to get yourself a decent straight cut pair of Wrangler jeans for £40 or there abouts. I like drinking/bouncing about in mine as they are properly comfy compared to other brands.

I just retired my fav Sonneti jeans to car wash detail after 7years of hard partying and looking class as ***, they'll be sorely missed but i can't justify 100quid on jeans n such anymore!

I think TK Maxx will be a good option, can be a bit of a juble sale at times but if you dig you will find something for sure

T K MAXX - 'Superdry' have some funky yet chilled out style jeans, and I imagine will be probably just what you are looking for.
Not to ott on the price either.

Also, as crazy as it sounds Tesco have had a few pairs in that have been pretty decent, as fas as Tesco goes.

If you're wanting trendy, it seems the way to go would be some 22" inside leg baggy's but worn 8" under your @r$£. You'll spend all night hitching them up every 8-10 seconds, but apparently the girls go wild for a glimpse of mens skid-marked undercrackers, especially the p!ss-stained bit at the front, I'm told. The pockets need to be stitched near the back of the knees too to finish off the Oompa-Loompa look

Warning, don't try running for a bus in them

Imagine several 16-18 year old apprentices (all shapes and sizes) wearing their jeans like this and then trying to get into their one-piece overalls whilst trying to maintain said look.

Me? I wear an old pair of jeans on the waist or some chavvy bottoms for comfort.

I'm not made to wear these new fangled fitments, so it's straight cut or maybe bootcut and thats my limit

COB, these are a bit short on this guy but should be okay for you. If not you could turn them up.

I would prefer a slightly "wilder" design over the "only gay in the village" stoned effect if possible

Bootcut are a BIG BIG no no!

Personally if you can afford always invest in a couple pairs of decent jeans and obviously shoes. for the wear you get from them it's a great investment.

Edwin make some nice jeans. The raw Ed-47 rainbow selvedge are my pick for a smart pair of dark jeans.

Seen a lot of G-Star Raw around at the moment seriously reduced in the sales, love these jeans myself as they are like you describe. You can sometimes pick these up in TK Maxx if your lucky, but you can always make an offer anywhere, haggling always worth a go.
