As above, What are the main differences?

A lot of people seem to say DJ's use ableton more, and use it in their sets but it is still production sotware.


So does anybody know what the differences are? i can't go onto too many websites as i'm at work but i seem to think that logic is going to be better used at making music, and ableton is used for live re-edits etc while DJing?


I'm just curious as im about to invest in further training for logic studio, and hopefully within the next 6 months some new DJ equipment, and if ableton could improve capabilities of DJ sets then i may look into purchasing that aswell.
