Can anyone recommend a restaurant in China town?
I have booked to take the missus to see a show for Valentines, and we are staying in a hotel in central London, now I have just noticed that it's the Chinese new year on the same day. (13th Feb)
So, I thought that would be the place to be for the Saturday night entertainment, however I think it might be prudent to book a restaurant rather than try to wing it on the night.
So, if anyone has any recommendations then that would be great.

New World, 1 Gerrard Place London W1D 5PA - Chinese Restaurant in London
the New World. The best by head and shoulders, is always packed with Chinese which is a good recommendation.
I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Tourist trap. Pick one you like the look of, as that's as good a guide as any, but you're not guaranteed good food. It's like Brick Lane now, i reckon they all buy from the same suppliers. Pack 'em in, feed 'em cheap, find more punters for the next sitting. Not the best gastronomic experience.
