So, we have had Snow on and off for ages, there is a thaw predicted but it will still only be towards the end of January, still Feb and March to get through, what is usually the worst month, February always had my vote !

I got mine washed for £2.50! Just a general spray to get the salt off though.

As for the winter, Jan is usually the coldest, Feb there will be snow, March a bit of sun, and then leading in to April it might get better, but it will probably rain for most of it.

It will get a bit warmer, and then it will get colder again, and then it will do that all over again.

It'll get cold, then warm, then warm then cold. It'll get progressively warmer as winter passes into spring, then warminging into summer. Then, shock horror, it'll get cooler, and then really cold, and then not so cold and a bit warmer and the hot, and then cooler again......truck me a cycle!

My prediction for NH dewllers is to stock up on solid fuel burners and fuel, warm clothes and plenty of food. Your next winter will be much much colder.

Want to bet me AU$100? (About 50 quid).

I think after january, feb will follow, then march will come, then possibly april, but like the weather guru's, i can only see so far into the future

I think that whether we can weather the weather depends on whether the weather weathers the weather guard upon the roof.

Ever is the weather never what the weather should be, but is ever the weather never expected whether or not you ever (or never) speculated upon the weather that ever would happen.

I think its going to be dark later on each day as it moves into the night, but brightening in the mornings. The daylight should last until it gets dark again.

Its going to be a warm winter as the records will prove.
As we know the science is settled and the climate is warming and anyone who says otherwise is a holocaust denier.
The recent cold snap? Pah that's just weather. Its the polar bears I feel sorry for actually
