How much for a tele-marketer???
Hi Guys,
We are thinking of employing a tele-marketer to get leads and apointments for our external sales chap.
Anyone any idea how much we should expect to pay in the Berkshire area???
I totally agree with the old saying "If you pay peanuts you get monkeys" so want to make sure we are competative and attract someone who can provide results for us.
Thanks in advance
Steve

£8.50ph + bonus for each appointment that generates a sale - depends on the value of the sale but £25-30.00 is the usual form.
It depends but some people can happily get 5-6 appointments a day, say 3 make sales then an extra 90.00 per day bonus is realistic
expect 100 approx. outgoing calls to be made alls per day, always dependant on how good the data is of course.
as they say - Sh*t in, Sh*t out
I speak from experience.
Gisa job!

Paul - Thanks for that, It sounds just what I was thinking.
Urban - We will be buying in data to make sure we are calling the sort of companies we intend to target and also make sure the calling is legal thanks to TPS and a like

Not telling you how to suck eggs, but make sure you get a sample of data to test before you commit to anything. It'll depend on your industry, but we've rejected some absolute rubbish from some reputable companies recently. Again you get what you pay for.

Yea I fell into the bad Data trap a few years ago!!!!!!
Luckily one of the guys here has a friend in a company and will let us "trial" some of his data to prove how good it is befor we part with any £'s.
Paul - Are you seriously looking?? I would be happy to PM you details once we have made a decision this end.
