South by South West
Has anyone heard of this? I hadn't. Apparently a major annual music, film and media festival/showcase held in Austin, Texas.

OK, thanks. Did it do them any good I wonder? Lock junior is playing with his band there in March and is quite excited about it. I think the deal is one gig on the main stage and two others on smaller stages during the festival. I just hope they are not wasting their time but you have to go for these things. At least it should be warmer over there

Let him go!! He will have the time of his life!! Its effectivly the US version of Glastonbury but for about 5 days.
If the USA like them, it will certainly generate interest for them over there and record labels usually have scouts there.
