Or indeed any other regional variation ...
Why do supper markets produce snides made up with cheese and onion in preference to the real thing mostly, it seems
im used to one a day but iv reverted to cheese sarnies

If your are ever in the Midlands area, check out 19 Gales - yummmm!
Their Family Sized Pastie is almost as big a a crash helmet...
...but if you are a bit cheesy, they also do them n'all...
Indeed all their pies (and sandwiches, meat, veg, cakes etc.) are excellent

Don't remember him with Pasties on his feet, perhaps he ate them? Size 15s. Thank you very much mam. aha. Fat ****, i mean the King, has left the building (only just).

Yeah they looked like a couple of vegetables if i remember rightly.
Cabbages come to mind.
I'll keep your idea in mind mate, as long as they leave out the carrots.
