Default ipod touch Q

I have an ipod touch, to replace my old 3rd gen ipod

On the 3rd gen, there was a sleep function, whereby you can set the pod to

turn off after a predetermined time. (great for listening at night)

Now i'm sure ive seen this in one of the menu's on the touch, but when i

came to listen last night, i couldnt find it

So, does the touch have a sleep function, and if so, how do i access it?

or did i imagine it

In the manual, Page 32: http://manuals.info.apple.com/en/iPo...ures_Guide.pdf

Edit: For the lazy amongst us :

You can set iPod touch to stop playing music or videos after a period of time.
m From the Home screen choose Clock > Timer, then flick to set the number of hours and
minutes. Tap When Timer Ends and choose Sleep iPod, tap Set, then tap Start to start
the timer.
When the timer ends, iPod touch stops playing music or video, closes any other open
application, and then locks itself.

There is nothing out there that competes with it, some are better at certain things, they arent perfect but they are fantastic little gadgets, I really want something that isnt Apple to beat them but I havent seen anything that comes close in terms of ease of use and fluidity.
