Then her and my my missus both tell me today is Sunday! Eh, I thought it was saturday. Work starts again on monday and my holidays are over. This few weeks off over christmas has just flew past

I thought my daughter was back tomorrow, but it turns out the teachers are receiving some more training, so I have to take her to work with me tomorrow

This will be almost certainly the first day of every term, plus TWO others.

Made law by government in 1988 education act, your daughter didn't lose any school time, that stayed at 190 days, the teachers lost 5 days holidays for threatening Thatcher's government

Feels like this time off has flown over. Really don't want to go back to work.

I'm not going to get into an argument with anyone about teachers' holidays, sorry to disappoint.

You would think with all the training they get they would be really good by now

When I used to go in to help, I got really pee'd off in the end due to the teacher always wanting me to help with IT stuff. Every time I went in, she would get me to go into the IT suite knowing I was a bit handy with Microsoft Office

You'd think they'd tailor the training to improve these sort of things, wouldn't you!?

My daughter thought she had another day off tomorrow. Council site for school term times says no, School site for term times says yes.

2 weeks off work and they need re-training? Have they forgotten how to teach?
