Broke my iPhone screen...
I've had a moment with my Iphone and basically broke the screen on it, phone still works, but it's covered in cracks.
anyone done this before? Is this a job i pay apple through my nose for the pleasure or any other reliable services around that can do an equally good replacement job?
Cheers

It all depends if you have handset insurance or not as cracked screens are not usually covered under warranty.
Dont take it into an 02 shop as they send it off to apple anyway. Just find your nearest apple store to you, make an appointment via the concierge system for the genius bar and take it in. They might be able to sort it there and then

if they do try and stick you over a desk and give it to you hard. then have a look on ebay as they have the digitizers on there for these phones. they come with a kit to do it yourself with instructions. but if its the actually screen then they have these as well.

Exactly!!! Might raffle off a go home early pass with the juniors on the desk, winner gets to have my phone fixed before going home!

Yep if you have handset insurance you'll be find. A friend of mine says if covered you'll probably get it swapped out for a 3gs (if its 16gb one you have) as there are no 16gb left, it happened to him and he got a nice new shiny 3gs.
