Wrong.

Simon Cowell is associated with Sony, he doesn't own them, therefore he won't be seeing any of Rage's proceeds.

They are both owned by Sony BMG.

I am not sure anyone really thinks that Cowell owns Sony Records

RATM are signed to Epic which are owned by Sony.

Syco is part of Sony BMG.

Both are owned by Sony Corporation.
