Swiss put up a few xmas lights ;)
In line with tradition, the time has come around for me to drag the ton of lights out of the loft and spend my time whacking them up in a fairly hapzard way 
This year proved particularly frustrating because obviously in the time they have been sitting in the loft, they must have had a union meeting and decided to bloody go on strike and we have lost count of the sets and bulbs that refused to work
Anyway, nearly 2 weeks of full time balancing on ladders and cursing and swearing with the odd 'griswald' moment thrown in for good measure, they are up. This is of course just the outside
. The inside is just as mad 
Anyway without further ado, I present a few twinkles for you lot
The front of the house

Back Garden

After the 5th or 6th set of lights had gone, one of the bloody reindeer nearly found itself hoofed over into the nearly field and I said ..Never again but then I say that every year
Our neighbours love it, they truly do
Anyway thanks again, glad we could provide some entertainment for you lot
Please expect the usual "Swiss disaster fund" in the New Year

I honestly don't get it with people and having so many lights/decorations etc
Is it because they want/like the attention?
Or keeping up with and beating the joneses
Maybe you have several young children an if so then fair enough I suppose, even then the novelty will soon wear off on them I'd imagine.
