Is Gordon Brown capable of answering a single question at PMQ's?
I have never seen such a shambles.
The House is full of yobbish, childish people today (a great example to follow), and Mr Brown seems incapable of answering a single questions without starting with "what my right honourable friend needs to answer is...."
Asked to simply admit that he was wrong about the UK's recovery from recession, he point blank refused.
I have to say its days like today you can see why the country is such a mess, when you watch the behaviour of MP's in the house. Shameful.

The problem is also with the electorate in that most are too stupid to know what is going on in their own country so believe whatever their ****e tabloid of choice tells them. MP's are so wary that if they say anything slightly negative the press is all over them and it's almost career suicide. So you end up with a system which is nothing more than a popularity contest with no real focus of effective government of policy implementation.

As soon as the guy stands up, he gets laughed and jeered down. Yet when the children had finally STFU, he had one of the most sensible exchanges with GB of the whole session!
Never mind expenses reforms. They need house reforms to rule out all this pathetic behaviour, and allow ALL the time allocated for PMQ's to just that, and not the speaker v the house trying to get them to be quiet.
Reminds be of being 12-13 at school when a supply teacher walks in. Supply teacher lessons were always least productive. Just like PMQ's.
I do agree with #2 also, that no one actually knows who they are voting for, it IS a popularity contest.

lol I liked the speaker for his comments too.
Na I know that all questions should be answered with a question. Its just disappointing when there is not just a simple one line answer/apology BEFORE the said question.
The standing up, I believe are the people who have registered a question, showing their intent.
lol im watching it, as its always interesting to see how many questions will actually get answered, and how childish these over paid idiots can behave.
