Question Hiring Aston Martins, Ferraris etc...

What sort of price would you pay to hire a DB9 for 1 day, having it delivered and picked up again? There aren't many prices on the net and I'm just wanting a rough idea. My Aunt is wanting to hire one for my Uncle's birthday.

Thanks

Don't you have to stump up a big security deposit like £5,000 IIRC ??

sorry mate - I updated the prices there. Full details from Super Car Hire, Prestige & Luxury Car Hire, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mercedes Hire I have no connection to this company in any way, just provided the pricing from their website.

Personal experience - no. I did once hire a ford focus from Manchester airport to get to Alderly Edge, it was a very nice drive indeed and about £95 for the weekend.

Cheers for the info. 125 miles would be ok I suppose, especially if the car was being dropped off and picked up again.

You could get from Glasgow to Edinburgh one and maybe a bit times depending on where you lived. Bit poor really.

How about some sort of off road thing? Would be a lot less.

Yeah I know it's hardly the best. If I had it on hire it would be driven all day.

He's done offroad things in fife(if I remember correctly), and a single seater day a knockhill etc. He's quite into 4x4s etc. She just thought this would be something a bit different, and considering some of the supercar experiences don't give you much time driving the car, I thought it was a good idea too. He's always on about how he'd have an Aston if he had the cash.

It is a lot of dosh though, and the deposit is a bit mental. Not sure if that will be an issue or not. I've had a look at a few sites today, and obviously there's Rio Prestige which is the one that springs to mind straight away, so she'll be able to get a few quotes and go from there...

I hired a Ferrarri 360 F1 modena for half a day for £250. It was worth every penny.

Club Silverstone. Unfortunately they went bust last year. I also went out in a Gallardo as well. Did 0-100-0 mph on the road outside the circuit entrance

What about this ....

Caterham Hire Sports Car Hire Scotland

not quite as comfy as the Aston but you could hire a couple for less cash and have a fun day out!
