Whatever anyone feels they have to say to mock her, she has the most outstanding singing voice and her successes are demonstrating that in spades!

I disagree Les, Nothing more than the freakshow that Simon Cowell has created over her has made her a success. You can't question her voice but you can question if someone released the exact same album with the same talent as her, would it have sold as well? I think not.

She has a talent, but the sales reflect the hype, not the talent. Not accuratly anyway.
I agree with Jamz!

White horses is a good arrangement, and makes the most of her voice, but I could not listen to a whole album.
Good luck to her I say. But I dont see her being about for long. She will go completly cuckoo soon.

if real life follows the footsteps of Eastenders by this time next year she'll have a baby to one of the members of N-Dubz after a dodgy popstar party!

The poor woman should never have been forced into the spotlight, she just isn't mentally capable of dealing with the surreal plastic world of showbiz. Not fond of the music myself, but I hope the album does well & she gets enough money to just jack it all in.

I think you being totally disingenuous - the fact is she more normal than just about everybody else

If she sells a few albumns to grandmas nationwide good luck to her

I haven't called her a abnormal, i called the circus that Simon Cowell has made out of her a Freakshow and a well devised one at that, as alot of people have bought into it.

Nice one Jamz3k, waiting for the tickets for her first live show, will you go with me????

She has got an ability to sing, however, it will be Mr Cowell who will take the lions share of the profit from that ability. Unless she learns how to deal with the media, and the situation I would think her success will be short lived.

Hmmm, never thought Katherine Jenkins was that fit. She does have potential, but she insists in having a really strange hairstyle. Although, I would have to agree I'd like to get my hands on some tickets to go and see her.

It's hard to take criticism seriously from people who don't even know what the bloody song is called!

Her version of Wild Horses is great - at the end of the day, that's all that matters...

Les,

Compare the clarity of her voice someone like Karen Carpenter or Barbara Streisand and you will then see that her voice is not that good. Yes she has a good tone to her voice but thats about it.

Had a quick preview of a few tracks online last night,

Was a bit disappointed that the album rendition of I dreamed a dream, was a

more muted affair than the soaring version she did for her audition.

Not sure if i would buy it on first listen, i may have another listen and then

decide
