Need advice/help, i'm just about to upgrade the rom on my HTC TD2 to WIN 6.5 and was wondering if there was anything i should do or not do? I've stored all contacts to sim and all pics and music to memory card. It says about service provider settings being lost, but as my phone was open to all networks from new i take it i don't have to worry

i have found HTCPedia.com - An Online Encyclopedia for HTC Users to be better of late.

However from experience when i upgraded my ROM to 6.5 i backed everything up, upgraded it, then restored my data.

When it booted i was asked about connection settings held on my SIM to be configured to the phone.

cheers guys, after reading some of the posts on the htc forum i think i'm gonna give it a miss until the 6.5.1 is released as it sounds like there is a few bugs and that its not much if any better than 6.1.

I have personally found 6.5 far better than 6.1

Not quite iPhone OS 3 though eh

Updating phone software always used to worry me, but now I love doing it, just to see what changes you will get with the latest release

Sony Ericcson X1 which is pretty similar underneath i believe.
