I've also read the book and thought it was shoite. The film has Tom Hanks in it, I won't be watching it then (only good in his early films IMHO). His best film was Bachelor Party, watch that instead

one of the best films i've ever seen, watched it so many times and it still wells me up especially when that tawt dosn't water the sponge.
